ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Chelsey Rae Vanderville, 24, of 525 S. 14th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture — meth and a count of controlled substance — maintaining a drug house. She was sentenced to 2 years, 6 months to 20 years in prison on the first count and 202 days jail on the second; the sentences will be served concurrently. Her driver license will be suspended 30 days and restricted 150 days. Vanderville was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Jessica Leah Shumate, 43, of 600 Altamont St., Apt.202, Marquette, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — possession of meth/ecstasy and two counts of jails — prisoner possessing contraband. She was sentenced to 2 to 10 years prison on the first count and between 17 months and 5 years prison on the latter two. The sentences for possessing contraband will be served consecutively to the sentence for possession of meth/ecstasy. Shumate was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Elizabeth Marie Medwayosh, 30, of 10514 N. Main St., Rapid River, pleaded guilty to controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (Schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine). She was sentenced to 61 days jail with credit for 61 days served. She will be placed on probation for 12 months. Her driver license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. Medwayosh was ordered to pay $1,028 in fines and costs.
