ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Melissa Christine Biermaker, 35, of 11987 T Road, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules four). She was sentenced to 45 days in jail and credited for three days already served. Biermaker’s driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. She was ordered to pay $758 in fines and costs.

Derick Allen DeGraves, 29, of 1820 1st Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a probation violation of the offense police officer – fleeing – fourth degree penal code. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and credited for five days already served. DeGraves probation of two years will continue.

Amy Lynn Teeple, 38, of 210 N. 13th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 10 years in prison and credited for 125 days already served. Teeple was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Joshua Scott Biermaker, 33, of 11987 T Road, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedule four). He was sentenced to three months in jail and credited for three days already served. Biermaker’s driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. He was ordered to pay $758 in fines and costs.

Kellie Jean Gillis, 29, of 549 26th St., Gladstone, pleaded no contest to one count of controlled substance – possession/analogues. She was sentenced to three months in jail and credited for two days already served. Gillis’s driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. She will be placed on probation for 12 months. Gillis was ordered to pay $528 in fines and costs.
