Highland helps animal shelter

Sue Gartland, Delta Animal Shelter Manager, left, and Tonya Gartland hold some of the donations to the animal shelter that were collected at the Fourth Annual Highland Golf Course Wine and Beer Tasting Event earlier this month. Attendees of the Highland Golf Course event were encouraged to bring an item for the shelter in exchange for being entered into a special drawing for a door prize. Gartland was appreciative for the donations as they are currently caring for 119 animals.
