Scare Away Hunger food drive set

ESCANABA — The Salvation Army will be trick-or-treating for non-perishable food items in Escanaba and Gladstone during its “Scare Away Hunger” event. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Routes for the event can be found on the Salvation Army’s Facebook page, “The Salvation Army Escanaba.” Those on the routes are asked to leave a donation on their porch.

People who are not on the routes or who will not be home during the event can drop off donations at the Salvation Army, Elmer’s County Market in Escanaba, or Pat’s IGA in Gladstone from Oct. 21-30.
