Defendants sentenced in court

ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Kristy Lynn Olson, 25, of 4696 Sandy 16.65 Lane, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy and one count of jails – prisoner possessing contraband. She was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 10 years in prison on the first of these counts, and was sentenced to a minimum of 17 months to a maximum of five years in prison one the second. She was credited for 202 days already served on both counts. Olson was ordered to pay $266 in fines and costs.

Joseph Allen Dickerson, 41, of 16600 SW 22nd Terrace Road, Ocala, Fla., pleaded guilty to one count of jails – furnishing contraband to prisoners. He was sentenced to 139 days in jail and credited for 139 days already served. Dickerson was ordered to pay $758 in fines and costs.

Nichole Lynn Godfrey, 29, of 10563 N.5 Road, Gladstone, was sentenced to prison in two cases, both of which to be served concurrently. In the first case, Godfrey pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession/analogues. She was sentenced to a minimum of 11 months to a maximum of two years in prison, and was credited for 131 days already served. She was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

In the second case, Godfrey pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to a minimum of one year and 11 months to a maximum of 10 years in prison, and was credited for 126 days already served. She was ordered to pay $258 in fines and costs.
