Air rifle taken from residence
ESCANABA — An air rifle was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of 10th Street in Escanaba Wednesday, Sept. 11, according to Escanaba Public Safety Department.
Officers were called to the residence at 5:34 p.m.
The complainant said he had left the house in the morning and the air rifle was still there. He explained he returned home at around 3 p.m. and didn’t notice the air rifle was gone until 5 p.m.
The air rifle is valued at $150. Nothing else was reported stolen.
Officers said there were no signs of force entry.
