Benefit planned for bone marrow patient
ESCANABA — A spaghetti benefit dinner for Noelle Owens is being planned for Jan. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 608 Ludington St., Escanaba. There will be bucket raffles and 50/50 drawings. All proceeds go directly to the Owens family to help with medical and travel expenses.
Noelle Owens, 8 months old, is the daughter of Jeremy and Rachelle Owens of Escanaba. She was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Monosomy 7 and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Milwaukee Childrens Hosptial of Wisconsin.
