ESCANABA — The Escanaba Public Library invites the public to attend its inaugural Harry Potter Trivia Night on Thursday, Oct. 25. The event celebrates the book phenomenon and invites fans to test their knowledge, meet other fans, and enter for a chance to win tickets to the Bonifas Art Center’s Night of Wizardry and Magic.

Harry Potter has become one of the world’s bestselling book series — topping the charts at over 500 million copies sold as of 2018. Fans of the series, affectionately known as “Potterheads,” have created whole websites, fan conventions, and have even written books on the young boy who defeated a terrible evil.

The Harry Potter Trivia night takes place on Oct. 25 at the Escanaba Public Library. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 6:30. The Harry Potter Trivia night is for ages 12 and up, and for teams up to five people. Registration is required for this event and closes on Oct. 19.
