Delta County District Court Judge Steven Parks presents a check for $1,757.25 to Ken Gartland, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation For Delta County. The funds were received by the district court as result of the sale of community service projects created by probationers under the supervision of District Court Probation Department. “I’m personally very pleased to be able to present a check to the Community Foundation For Delta County. They have stepped up and provided substantial financial support to this court for our Drug and Sobriety Court as well as providing funds for the Child Advocacy Center. They have been there for our citizens and it’s nice to be able to give something back,” Parks said. Ken Gartland thanked Judge Parks and his employees for their thoughtful donation to the foundation. “The funds will be utilized in this month’s grant cycle by the Community Foundation,” he said.
