Defendants sentenced in court

ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in unrelated cases in Delta County Circuit Court in Escanaba.

Boyd Stephen Nelson, 30, of 3125 14th Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of analogues. He was sentenced to six months in jail and given credit for 92 days already served. His drivers license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. Nelson was ordered to pay $698 in fines and costs.

Jacqueline Louise Deveaux, 33, of N941 U.S. Hwy. 41, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted larceny – $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. She was sentenced to five months in jail and given credit for nine days already served. She was placed on probation for 12 months. Deveaux was ordered to pay $$4,500 restitution and $1,028 in fines and costs.

Britney Leann Jones, 24, of 218 S. 5th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of analogues. She was sentenced to four months in jail and given credit for 62 days already served. Her drivers license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. Jones was ordered to pay $698 in fines and costs.

Adam Thomas McConlogue, 31, of 1122 N. 18th St., Apt. No. 1, downstairs, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to three counts of probation violations with the underlying offense of resisting and obstructing conservation officers to which he pleaded guilty.

He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and given credit for two days already served. His probation was continued.
