Escanaba native gets promotion

GRAND RAPIDS — Cumulus Media has announced that it has promoted Steve Holm to Regional vice president/market manager for Grand Rapids/Muskegon, Mich. He rises from his previous role as general sales manager for Cumulus Dallas. The appointment was effective this past May 13.

Holm, a native of Escanaba, started his radio career in 2010 in Battle Creek, for WBCK-FM and WBXX-FM, former Cumulus stations now owned by Townsquare Media. Holm moved to Dallas in 2014 and has spent the past 10 years as a sales manager for Cumulus Dallas, most recently as general sales manager of KTCK-AM/FM, WBAP-AM/FM, and KLIF-AM Holm holds a B.B.A. degree in marketing from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business.

“Steve has proven himself to be an accomplished leader in the Dallas market the past 10 years and we are thrilled to have him moving back home to Michigan, an area of the country that is important to Steve and his family. We are excited for him to get started and eager to see the impact he will have,” Bob Walker, president, operations, Cumulus Media, said.
