ESCANABA — First Bank Upper Michigan announces Perry Truscon has joined the First Investment Services team as a financial advisor.

Truscon holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations along with various lines of insurance with the state of Michigan.

Truscon is a graduate of Marquette Senior High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations with minors in mathematics and social science quantitative data analytics from Michigan State University in 2022. Accomplishments include being a recipient of the George F. McGregor Scholarship.

President and CEO Todd D. Maki stated, “We are excited to have added Perry to our organization as we fully expect his vast educational background and prior work experience will be valuable to all of his clients.”

Truscon joins First Investment Services with prior industry experience as a Planning Analyst from June 2022 – May 2023.

He is an active member of his local Rotary club in Marquette. He enjoys reading, cross-country skiing, biking, and enjoying all that the greater U.P. community has to offer.

First Bank Upper Michigan has branches located in Ishpeming, Marquette, Escanaba, Gladstone, Kingsford, Iron Mountain, Garden, and Bark River. Truscon’s office is currently located in Ishpeming, although he is able to serve the Northern, Southern, and Western regions of the U.P.
