POWERS-Emily Dawn Briggs of Bark River and Cody Anthony Warren of Kingsford became one on Sept. 12.

Emily is the daughter of Joe and Cherie Briggs.

Cody is the son of Dale and Colleen Warren.

They were wed in Powers at the Kisrchner farm.

Ashley Zambon, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Josh McCole, best friend of the groom, was the best man. Isla Wagner and Brielle Briggs showered the wedding with their flowers, and Keaton Hammond and Jared Plourde presented the rings.

The couple promised, they kissed, they danced and smiled, and even a few tears they may have cried.

Their fairy tale continued on a trip to Riveria Maya. They now reside in Bark River.

Cody works as an electrical lineman for MJ Electric. Emily works for Northwoods Rehabilitation in Escanaba.
