Honor Flight includes Holy Name teacher, family of staff

Courtesy photo The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight Mission XXVI arrived back home at Delta County Airport on Wednesday night, May 21. Holy Name Catholic School/Holy Name High School Science Teacher Mrs. JoEllen Hadel and HNCS Dean of Students Vic Dumas’ wife, Kristy Dumas, were two of the over 165 women veterans onboard the flight. This mission, “Women of Valor,” was the largest all-women veteran flight in America thus far. The veterans visited Washington, D.C. memorials, including the Military Women’s Memorial. Holy Name faculty and staff would like to express their gratitude to Hadel, Dumas, and all of our veterans for their service. In the photo at left Hadel (left) is greeted by co-worker Mickey Trottier, and supporters Eden Dumas and Vic Dumas.
