GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library held its “Oceans of Possibilities” summer reading program kick-off story walk on Wednesday, June 8. Families enjoyed walking and reading 17 book page signs. After participants finished, they received a goodie bag with juice and played at the James T. Jones playground.
The story walk was made possible by a grant from The Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee. The summer reading program is open to children 2 to 18 years of age and is sponsored by the Friends of the Gladstone Public Library and many area businesses. The reading program ends on Aug 3.
