Eagles serving breakfast on Sunday in Escanaba
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will serve its Sunday breakfast on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, located at 608 Ludington St. in Escanaba.
There is a fee to attend the breakfast. The public is welcome.

AAUW to meet Oct. 21
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Area Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) will hold its Oct. 21 meeting at 6:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, located at 500 Ogden Ave. The topic for the evening is “Famous AAUW Women” and will feature ten women in recent and past American history who have played important roles in the society.
Dessert and coffee will be provided. Those interested in attending should call 786-3415 no later than Oct. 17.
