Alano Club to celebrate 38th anniversary

GLADSTONE — The 38th anniversary celebration of the Delta Alano Club will be Sunday, Sept. 19. The day’s activities will begin at 3:38 p.m. with the annual meeting, with guest speaker Bob B.

Instead of the usual potluck meal, pizza will be delivered.

Friends of Dr. Bob B., and Bill W. are encourage to attend. The Delta Alano Club is located at 601 Michigan Ave. in Gladstone.

St. Thomas Church pasty sale Sept. 20-21

ESCANABA — St. Thomas Church will be having a pasty sale on Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 3 until 6 p.m. on both days.

Pasties can be ordered with rutabaga or without and can be pre-ordered by calling Debbie at 399-4259.

Pick up is at St. Thomas Church 1820 9th Ave. North Escanaba.

ESCANABA — All members of the Escanaba High School Class of 1962 are invited to a reunion planning session on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m.

The meeting will take place at Mo’s Pub, located at 2116 Ludington St. in Escanaba.
