Rapid Readers to meet

RAPID RIVER — Discussion of Mathew McConaughey’s novel, “Green Lights” is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. at Jack’s Restaurant in Rapid River. Members are asked to select a reflection, quote, poem, or passage which “speaks” to them to share with the group. Members are also asked to bring some selection ideas for October. DAR to hold meeting

AU TRAIN — The Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR, will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Brownstone Inn, Au Train, from noon to 3 p.m. Eastern Time Zone, or on ZOOM due to COVID-19. Members are asked to check ahead for confirmation. If you have questions about genealogy and joining DAR, members will be happy to answer them after the meeting.
