Garage sale event in Hermansville Saturday

HERMANSVILLE — Hermansville will be having its Annual Community Wide Garage Sale Day on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thirty to forty sales are expected in Hermansville that day.

Planners will have maps available at the Wildwood Restaurant and outside the Luft’s Advertiser, across from the school. The map is also available online at Hermansville.com. Maps will be available at 2 p.m. Friday.

Croatian chicken dinner Sunday in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — A Croatian chicken dinner will be hosted by the Sons of the American Legion Sunday, Sept. 12 at the American Legion in Gladstone from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Only 100 chickens will be sold. Dine-in space will be available, but orders must be placed in advance by calling 906-428-1050.
