Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle winner for the week of July 17 is Shar Mascarello of Grayling, Mich., who won $100. This was week 51 of the raffle.

Used book sale Aug. 7

ESCANABA — The League of Women Voters of Delta County will hold a used book, video and CD sale on Saturday Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the Bonifas Fine Arts Center Waterfront Art Festival in Ludington Park.

Proceeds from the sale are used to pay for printing voter education publications or other voter services.

Book donations may be made at the Daily Press.

Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club to meet

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club will be Monday, Aug. 9, at 5 p.m. in room 961 in the Joseph Heirman University Center building at Bay College in Escanaba.
