Library hosts virtual summer scavenger hunt

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Public Library is hosting MiLibraryQuest: Summer 2021, a virtual scavenger hunt for teens age 13-18. The Quest runs from now until July 31.

More than 150 libraries throughout Michigan have posted descriptions of interesting and unusual animals on their websites. Teens will search the websites of participating libraries to find the descriptions and use the Field Guide provided on MiLibraryQuest’s website to identify the animals. They will be entered for the chance to win prizes from the Escanaba Public Library after identifying at least 20 animals.

MiLibraryQuest: Summer 2021 is the third biannual statewide quest. Quests are created by a team of librarians, with support from The Library of Michigan. More information about MiLibraryQuest is available at www.mi.gov/MiLibraryQuestor at the library’s website, www.escanabalibrary.org. Support for this program comes from the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library.
