Menominee County Dems to meet

MENOMINEE — The Menominee County Dems will be holding their monthly meeting via Zoom on Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. CST. For those without a computer, the meeting can be joined via phone.

Homeless shelter sets pandemic rules

ESCANABA — Individuals who are homeless and wishing to stay at the Hope At The Inn mobile homeless shelter must first go to The Salvation Army and register for the program. The Salvation Army is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Do not just show up at the homeless shelter site expecting to be admitted.

Volunteers are greatly needed to help staff the three nightly shifts: 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m., and 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. For more information about volunteering, call Lisa at 420-1311.
