ESCANABA — Karen Walksnice of Escanaba made the dean’s list at Western Michigan Univerity Cooley Law School. She is a graduate of the University of Nortre Dame and of Escanaba Area High School.

Walksnice is the daughter of Robert and Betty LeMire. She and her husband, Edward Walksnice, have one child, Maxwell.
