Holy Name to hold open house, play on March 3

ESCANABA – Holy Name Catholic School is inviting all returning and new families and the general public to attend its open house on Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. The open house will feature HNCS fifth- and sixth-graders performing the play “The Princess and the Goblins” in the school’s multi-purpose room at 6 p.m. The students have been rehearsing for this production, which is under the direction of Mark Ammel, for the past two months.

Early registration for current families, their siblings, and new Catholic families will be held from March 3 through March 20. Holy Name is encouraging families for all current students to register during the early registration period to be guaranteed a spot for the 2020-2021 school year.

Beginning March 30, any remaining spots will be open to interested new families. Registration for new families can be turned in during the early registration period from March 3 through 20, but will be on hold until March 30. Families applying for scholarships need to have their applications turned in by Friday, April 10, as there are a limited number of scholarships available.
