BARK RIVER — American Legion District 11 Commander Wendy Sexton recently installed Post 438 of Bark River officers for the 2019-2020 year. The officers for the year are Commander Gary Bergquist, 1st Vice Commander Ken Veeser, 2nd Vice Commander Dennis Hopkins, Adjutant Joseph Potvin, Finance Officer Bruce LaBelle, Chaplin Len Gilley, Service Officer Dewey Klein, Sergeant at Arms Mark Kleiman, Historian Vicki Larson, and Judge Advocate Dick Haeusler.

District 11 Commander Sexton also installed the Post 438 Legion Auxiliary officers. The officers for the year are President Yvonne Larson, 1st Vice Cecile Veeser, 2nd Vice Maureen Potvin, Treasurer Dawn Gorecki, Secretary Emily Kleiman, Historian Cassie Lapinskas, Sergeant at Arms Judy Davis, Chaplain Christine Bergquist, and Girls State Chair Bernadette Haeusler.
