Perkins American Legion breakfast April 29
PERKINS — The Perkins American Legion will be having a All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffet on April 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The breakfast will be held the last Sunday of the month.
MARSP meeting set for May 1 at Memorial UMC
GLADSTONE — The Delta County Chapter of MARSP will hold its May meeting on May 1, at Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone, starting at noon. A pasta lunch will be served. There is a cost for the meal, which includes salad, breadsticks, and dessert.
The program will consist of the chapter’s annual meeting.
The deadline to make reservations, if you are not on a calling list, is Thursday, April 26, before 9 p.m. You may call 906-786-7748 or 906-399-0280 to make a reservation. Cancellations can be made by calling the above numbers by 9 p.m. Sunday evening, April 29.
Eagles Spaghetti dinner fundraiser Sunday
ESCANABA — The Eagles spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held April 21 at 608 Ludington Street in Escanaba. Dinner will be from 5 to 8 p.m. The event is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased at the door.
Music will be provided by the Bear Walker Band 8 p.m. to midnight. Any questions call (906) 786-3451 after 4 p.m.
Nahma historical society meeting set
NAHMA — The first seasonal meeting of the Nahma Township Historical Society will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at the Nahma Township Hall at 7 p.m. The 2018 summer calendar will be discussed. Women of the ELCA meets Sunday in Esky
ESCANABA — Delta Cluster Spring Gathering of the Women of the ELCA will be held on Saturday, April 21 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1230 N. 18th Street, Escanaba. The theme for the morning is “Embrace your Christian Walk.”
Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. The in-gathering offering will be for the Mkuza School Water Project and the in-kind offering will be going to the local Salvation Army. Suggested items to donate to the pantry include canned goods, cereal, mac-n-cheese and pudding cups.

ESCANABA — The Community Service Center food pantry adjacent to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Escanaba is open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday and Saturday.
Sit-n-fit exercise class
ESCANABA — Fitness chair exercises to improve strength, stretching, balance, flexibility and muscle will be held every Monday and Friday at 11a.m. at the Escanaba Senior Center. Sign in at the office. The event is free.
