Daryl and Fran Prey

ESCANABA — Childhood friends and high school sweethearts, Daryl Prey and Fran (Bartol) Prey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, with renewal vows blessed by Rev. Rick Courier at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. A dinner celebration for family was hosted by their children, Nate and Shelly Prey and Matt and Amy Prey at the Terrace Bay Inn.

Daryl and Fran both graduated from Holy Name High School in 1969, married on Sept. 4, 1971, and made Escanaba their home.
