Gary and Carol (Kaiser) Butryn

ESCANABA — Gary and Carol (Kaiser) Butryn recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on July 20, 1968 at First Presbyterian Church in Escanaba.

Their attendants were Kay Hughes as matron of honor and Debbie Butryn and Sue Rhyner as bridesmaids. The best man was Richard Hughes, and groomsmen were Ronald Hostetler and Robert Bobb.

A celebration was held by the couple for their extended family at Hereford and Hops on July 3.

Gary and Carol are the proud parents of three children and six grandchildren: Mark (Kimberly), Charles and John Butryn of Kennesaw, Ga.; Beth (David), Andre and Drake Vogl of Chandler, Ariz.; and Matthew (Emily), Abbygail and Evan Butryn of Maple Grove, Minn.
