MANISTIQUE —- Fifty-nine minutes of hockey wasn’t enough to determine a winner here Saturday as the Manistique Emeralds and Cheboygan Chiefs skated to a 3-3 tie. Manistique appeared to be in position for a breakaway opportunity before losing possession of the puck with 27 seconds left in the overtime. ESCANABA — Gladstone swimming and diving teams placed in the middle of a triangular meet here Thursday. The Houghton boys edged the Braves 128-112 and third-place Manistique scored 52 points.
