Headline was misleading

EDITOR: I read the story in todays paper about a “controversy” with our city council. After reading the story I find the headline is really misleading. And, also not fair to the city council members who are seeking re-election. From what I can determine, council followed all appropriate protocols in handling this issue. This matter is being investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies per the request of council. Not making a criminal investigation public at this stage is “proper” procedure. EDITOR: In my travels, I have observed several lawn signs and bumper stickers that are vulgar and offensive. I am referencing “F... Biden” and “My Governor is an Idiot, Pure Moron”. A clarification, not a complaint

EDITOR: Regarding the front page story on October 20 about the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum held on October 19, the headline said “Esky candidates focus on marijuana, development.” The Escanaba candidates, Ammel, Blasier, and Tall, did not have the choice to focus on any topic. The moderator gave us specific questions to answer. For example, I never intended to speak about marijuana, but the moderator asked a specific question about marijuana, so I spoke about marijuana.
