What is happening to our culture?

EDITOR: In my travels, I have observed several lawn signs and bumper stickers that are vulgar and offensive. I am referencing “F... Biden” and “My Governor is an Idiot, Pure Moron”. What is happening to our culture? If appears we are becoming more coarse and divisive. There is a virulent sickness in our society that is every bit as threatening and concerning as the COVID-19. EDITOR: Regarding the front page story on October 20 about the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum held on October 19, the headline said “Esky candidates focus on marijuana, development.” The Escanaba candidates, Ammel, Blasier, and Tall, did not have the choice to focus on any topic. The moderator gave us specific questions to answer. For example, I never intended to speak about marijuana, but the moderator asked a specific question about marijuana, so I spoke about marijuana. Just today, it was announced that the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are going to work 24 hours a day. EDITOR: Liberty can be defined as where the rights of the individual supersede the rights of a majority. Liberty is different than Democracy. God given rights are just that.
