Be wary of political mailers

Political mailers have already started arriving in the Upper Peninsula. Our household received three last week in support of a particular candidate. I was reminded by this how many people are not aware that much of the political mail they receive is not paid for by the candidate it promotes. In this case, the mailer was paid for by a national political organization funded by billionaire donors and corporate interests. Answers sought on US attacks

The following is a letter I submitted to U.S. Rep. Jack Bergman on Oct. 19. Since then, four more unarmed boats have been attacked. U.S. forces have attacked and sunk six unarmed boats, which the Defense Department identified as Venezuelan drug traffickers heading to the U.S. However, the department provided no evidence to support this claim.
