Mrs. Hoffman was born in Escanaba and lived a full and happy life with her husband of 70 years, Stanley R. Hoffman. They raised three children and lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, South Carolina and Maryland. Lu was a devout member of her church and she enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, socializing, playing cards and especially traveling.
