ESCANABA – Officers from Escanaba Public Safety have been dispatched to The House of Ludington Bar & Restaurant for a fire. Flames can be seen coming from the roof as of 11:20 a.m.

EPSD is currently on scene, as well as the city’s electric department. The Ford River Fire Department has been dispatched to the scene.

The smell of smoke was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers are currently working on blocking the road to the area. More information is to come.
