GARDEN CORNERS — It didn’t take long for senior Parker Pederson to establish a new boys’ career scoring record at Big Bay de Noc High School here Tuesday night. He got it on a layup less than three minutes into this non-conference basketball game, helping the Black Bears earn a hard-fought 42-39 triumph over Rock Mid Peninsula. ESCANABA, MI – Bay College's Emerson Droubie has been named the MCCAA Northern Confernce Player of the Week for his play during the week of February 2-8. Droubie (FR, Cambridge, MN) helped lead the Norse to a pair of wins over the week. On Wednesday Bay beat North Central Michigan College by a score of 98-37.
