Sidetracks wins in overtime at 87th Gold Medal Classic

HERMANSVILLE — The 87th Gold Medal Classic continued here Wednesday night with four games. In the first game it was Duboise picking up a 70-51 victory over Kingsford in Class D action. Cornellius Steele led the way for Duboise with 20 points. Dondre Yoho had 15 points and Nolan Amundson and Cody Gholdi both had 13. Owen Olkkonen had 20 points to lead the way for Kingsford and Jack Kriegl had 17.

In the second game, Wilson Farms cruised to a 82-52 victory over H-Town Ballers in Class EE action. Ty Eland led the way for Wilson Farms with 23 points while Sam Beaver had 10 to lead the way for H-Town.

In the third game, it was Sidetrack picking up a 56-54 overtime victory over Whitens Kiln in Class C action. Ben Stage led the way for Sidetrack with 16 points. Noah Gorzinski led the way for Whitens Kiln with 23 points and Jake Gorzinski added 17.

In the fourth game, Morning Ballers defeated Strollers 58-51 in Class E action. Trent Kitari led the way for Morning Ballers with 26 points and Jake Brock led the way foe Strollers with 17 points and Owen Keuheau had 13.
