ESCANABA — It may not feel like fall outside but it has that feel inside the Wells Sports Complex as the Escanaba Area Junior Hockey Association (EAJHA) season is underway for the 2025-26 seasons. Over the coming weeks we will introduce you to every member of the Yooper Fitness 14U-AA Bantam hockey team. Today we introduce you to Jude Fornetti.

Adam Hinch: What got you into hockey?

Jude Fornetti: I watched it on tv and thought it would be fun to play it.

AH: Do you play any other sports?

JF: I play soccer and golf.

AH: What is your favorite sport?

JF: Hockey.

AH: What is your favorite subject in school?

JF: I would say math.

AH: What is your favorite kind of music?

JF: Country music.

AH: Do you have a favorite artist?

JF: Alan Jackson or George Strait

AH: What is your favorite NHL team?

JF: The Washington Capitals.

AH: What is your favorite food?

JF: Turkey or ham sandwiches.

AH: What is your favorite video game?

JF: Skate.

AH: What is your favorite football team?

JF: The Pittsburgh Steelers.

AH: What is your favorite soda?

JF: Coca-Cola.

AH: If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go?

JF: Finland.

AH: What is your most memorable moment from hockey so far?

JF: Winning in a tournament in Marinette.
