HARRIS — A dominant third set performance led Bark River-Harris volleyball to a three-set victory 25-21, 25-20, 25-10 Thursday night.
“I feel like our energy and communication took a step up in the third set,” Broncos coach Brooke Anderson said. “Communication is one of the basics of the sport of volleyball and I feel we started to put things together during that third set.”

The Rockets battled with the Broncos in the first stanza and tied the game at 10 all on a pair of aces by sophomore Alivia Frappier.
The Broncos took the momentum back on a trio of aces by junior Dakota Bridges. The Rockets continued to go toe-to-toe with the Broncos and a huge ace by Rapid River junior Aubrey Olson to cut the deficit to 21-19. The Broncos closed the first set scoring four of the last six points.
Rapid River jumped out to a 7-4 lead in the second set. The Broncos answered with a six-point scoring run and took the lead at 10-7.
