ESCANABA — Baseball season may be done for area schools at the MHSAA level, but there’s still plenty of ball to be played this summer. Here’s what went down:

Gladstone Dominos 11, Ishpeming Lemoines 9

Gladstone Dominos picked up another win on Friday at Don Olsen Field. Braylin Carter pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing two hits while collecting 10 strikeouts. Asher Sargent pitched in relief after Carter maxed out on pitches. Carter, Mason Whitney, Wyatt Forvilly, Austin Loehr and Nick Becks added two hits apiece. Whitney and Forvilly scored three times and Carter scored twice.
