Black Bears fall against Munising Baptist

GARDEN CORNERS — Cam Miller and Braedon Thill scored a goal apiece here Thursday, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Big Bay de Noc Black Bears from dropping a 6-2 soccer decision to the Munising Baptist Bobcats.

“Munising Baptist came out hard and never let up until the end,” said Big Bay coach Alex Ranguette. “We fought harder than we did in a long time.

“I was impressed with the level of effort the team put in. The match was hard fought on both sides.”

The Bobcats host Big Bay (1-2), Hannahville and Beaver Island in a tournament Saturday.
