four-person scramble

GLADSTONE — The 19th annual Gail Hardwick Memorial/Swallow Inn four-person golf scramble takes place Saturday, Aug. 1 at Gladstone Golf Course.

Entry fee is $65 per person and includes unlimited grilling, cash flight prizes, hole in one prizes, skins, raffles and a par 3 challenge with an additional fee.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10. Golfers must reserve their own cart.

GLADSTONE — Karen McCorkle shot a 37 to lead the Irish Oaks Women’s League Monday. She was followed by Lori Shea 39, Mary Bergman 42, Holly Canull 43, Jamie Pond 44, Sandy Buckland, Becky Papaik and Sharon Pinar 45, Peggy Austin 46, Robin Schwartz and Patti Kivioja 47, Judy Roelke 48 and Sue Cossette 49.
