Norse baseball to

hold spring clinic

ESCANABA — The Bay College baseball team has announced that its 2020 Spring Clinic will be held Saturday, Feb. 29.

This year’s clinic will take on a different format than a year ago. Participants can sign up for one session per age group. The sessions will last three hours but are divided into two portions. The sessions will start their focus on offensive drills and techniques. The second half focus will shift to defense. Participants will go through the same infield and outfield work that the Norse use to prepare themselves for their season.

Session one is for participants in grades 4-8 and will be from 12-3 p.m. Session two will be designed for grades 9-12 and run from 3:30-6:30. Cost is $50 per participant. Bay College coaches and players will be on hand to lead both sessions.

Participants are asked to bring their own glove and strongly encouraged to bring their own bat. T-shirts will be provided for anyone registering by Feb. 21. A limited supply will be available for anyone registering after that date but will not be guaranteed.

Entrants can download a registration form by going to baynorse.com and navigating to the baseball team page. The link for the 2020 Clinic will be on top of the page. Participants can either mail their form to Coach Mike Pankow on campus, or email them, along with any questions, to mike.pankow@baycollege.edu.
