GLADSTONE — Grayson LaMarche scored 21 points here Tuesday night as the Escanaba seventh-grade girls posted a 50-17 basketball triumph over Gladstone.

Katey Lamb and McKenzie Engebretson added six each for Esky. Lauren Sundquist hit seven and Tia Schone had six for Gladstone.

The Esky eighth-graders also won 51-16, led by Keira Maki’s 20 points. Shelby Justenson scored 13. Saylor Henderson added 11 and Morgan Maki had seven. Megan Stier and Montgomery Pepin led Gladstone with six apiece.

Esky hosts Marquette tonight. Gladstone plays Manistique Thursday.

Harvest Moon Run

ESCANABA — The Harvest Moon five-kilometer run/walk is taking place Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA-Delta Center.

Packet pick-up starts at 6. Entry fee, which is due Monday, is $35.
