golf scramble

GLADSTONE — The 18th Annual Gail Hardwick Memorial/Swallow Inn 4-person golf scramble is Saturday at the Gladstone Golf Course. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10.

There will be lunch, a whitefish dinner, cash flight prizes, hole-in-one prizes and door prizes. There is an additional fee for skins, raffles and a Par 3 challenge. Players must reserve their own cart by calling (428-9646).

Irish Oaks women

GLADSTONE — Mary Bergman shot a 42 to lead the Irish Oaks Women’s League Monday. She was followed by Karen McCorkle and Pat DeGrave 43, Holly Canull 46, Rosie Spindler and Sally Erkkila 48, and Jami Pond, Vickie Isaacson, Sharon Pinar and Robin Schwartz 49.

Terrace Bluff women

GLADSTONE — Wendy Hathaway, Mel Beauchamp and Judy LaFleur each shot a 45 at the Terrace Bluff Women’s League Tuesday night. They were followed by Betty Fleury, Julie Mayville, Melissa Becotte and Margie Movalson 46, Caron Salo and Denise Wilson 48, and Amy Stupak and Pat Germain 49.
