CARNEY — The Carney Summer Basketball League continued last Wednesday with three games.

In the opener, Juiced Apparel had no trouble disposing of R Place with a 102-75 win. Mike Polfus led Juiced Apparel with 24 points and Luke Mattson added 22. Rob Granquist led R Place with 23 points and Tom Granquist chipped in 20.

Spindler Financial held off Kleiman & The Boys 77-72 in the second game. Christian Harris led Spindler Financial with 23 points and Eric Spindler had 19. Jordan Sodergren had 20 points for Kleiman & The Boys and Jacob Kleiman added 17.

In the nightcap, 3’s Company took down Carney 93-63. Zach Rose led 3’s Company with 23 points and Aaron Pouliot chipped in 17. Brett LaFord led Carney with 19 points and Beau Koffman added 18.

Junior golf results

HYDE — The Delta County Junior Golf Association held another tournament Monday at the Highland Golf Club.

Griffin Johnson, age 9, shot a hole-in-one on hole No. 8 from from 70 yards out. Johnson won the 9-10 boys division, followed by Nathan Beauchamp in second and Lincoln Bradfield in third.
