Trail race Saturday
HYDE — The first Stroke Awareness five-kilometer run/walk takes place Saturday at noon on the Felch Grade Trail.
Registration is open until 11:30 a.m. Entry fee is $25.
Parking space is available at 5653 I Rd., Hyde.
A barbecue luncheon will be offered to participants after 2 p.m.

GLADSTONE — Steve Bratonia shot a 71 to lead the way at the Gladstone Men’s 18-hole League Monday. He was followed by Wayne Marshall 72, Kelly Shea 73, Bill Swartz 75, Dick Pepin, Kim Clouse and Bob VanDamme 76, Rich Trombly and Gary Micheau 77, Tom Tousignant 78, and Jim Broman and Mark Hagar 79.
Korey Smith led the afternoon 9-hole league with a 34. He was followed by Joe Quinn, Steve Leadman, Benji Malnar and Marc Nault 38, and Eric Willor and Rob Rebholz 39.
Irish Oaks women
GLADSTONE — Pat DeGrave shot a 43 to lead the way at the Irish Oaks Women’s League Monday. She was followed by Karen McCorkle 45, Betty Andrews 46, Pattie Kivioja 47, Sally Erkkila and Amanda Norkoli 48, and Sue Cossette, Debbie Peterson and Jamie Pond 49.
Terrace Bluff women
GLADSTONE — Denise Wilson led the way at the Terrace Bluff Women’s League Tuesday night with a 42. She was followed by Wendy Hathaway 43, Betty Fleury and Naty Steele 44, Amy Stupak and Judy LaFleur 46, Mel Beauchamp, Mary Johnson and Debbie Valiquette 47, Judy Jensen 48, and Julie Mayville and Margie Movalson 49.
HYDE — Mike Brayak and Mark Ray led the way with the low rounds of 70 at the Highland Men’s League Tuesday. They were followed by Steve VanEnkenvort 72, Buckwheat and Curt Servant 74, Dennis Dittrich 75, Doug Motto 76, Dave Hosking and Darryl McKnight 77, Casey Hyslop 78, and Cory Kroll 79.
