The Irish Oaks Golf Course sponsors a 3-woman Big Cup Golf Scramble every year with proceeds donated back to Delta County community charities. Recently, $2,900 was donated to the Delta County Cancer Alliance, Shop with a Cop, Hope at the Inn, U.P. Foster Closet, and Gladstone, Rapid River, and Mid Peninsula School’s Backpack Program. This year’s event is Thursday, June 27 at Irish Oaks Golf Course.
