Eichhorn is in 24th
AUSTIN, Tex. — The host Texas Longhorns are having a good time on their home course at the NCAA regional golf tournament this week.
Texas is in first place with a 552 total over the opening two rounds and has all five golfers among the top 15 in the tournament entering today’s final round.
Marquette is in eighth place with 587. The Golden Eagles were seeded eighth after winning the Big East Conference.
Texas teammates Cole Hammer, Pierceson Coody and Steven Chevony are tied for the lead after two rounds with 138.
Three Marquette golfers share 24th place, with Hunter Eichhorn of Carney-Nadeau High School, Oliver Farrell (who had an ace Tuesday) and Austin Kenziorski at 145.
