ESCANABA — Superior Central’s Samantha Thompson was wrongly identified as Caitlyn Thompson in a photo and a softball story from Tuesday’s game against Rapid River in Wednesday’s edition of the Daily Press.

Track and field camp

DE PERE, Wis. — The St. Norbert College Track and Field Camp is July 8-11 at Donald J. Schneider Stadium. The camp runs from 6-8 p.m. each day and the cost is $90.

The camp helps young athletes in grades 7-12 develop their skills, prepare for their upcoming season, and take their performance to the next level.

St. Norbert College coaches and varsity athletes will help participants choose from individual technique sessions in sprints, jumps, hurdles, pole vault and throws. Each camper will receive individualized attention in his or her chosen events, and will get specific tips on how to turn weaker areas into strengths.

Cross Country camp

DE PERE, Wis. — St. Norbert College is holding a middle distance/distance running camp July 10-13.

Runners will learn how to improve running technique, boost performance, and learn how to stay healthy and injury-free from camp coaches. Space is very limited at this residential, overnight camp, in order to provide personal attention to each athlete. The camp is for athletes in grades 7-12 and the cost is $325.
