Tech quints lose
HOUGHTON — Wisconsin-Parkside spoiled Michigan Tech’s home debut Thursday, whipping the Huskies 70-53 in the men’s game and dropping the women 62-40 in GLIAC basketball games.
Sophomore Dawson Bilski of North Central led the Huskies (4-4) with 16 points and Trent Bell had 10 rebounds. The Rangers had runs of 10 and 11 points in the first half to take control.
In the opener, Parkside grabbed a 19-5 first quarter lead and never trailed.
